The villa is located at the lake of Pyhäjärvi in Salla five kilometres away from the ski resort and five kilometres away from Salla’s sevices. Its location is very peaceful, far from the sounds of the highway and other disturbances. In the line of sight, you can’t see any other villas.

This villa has a long history. Aarne Kuukkanen built the first cottage here for summer use during the 1950s. In 2017, the new villa with all modern amenities was built, which makes this a great place to spend time during winter too.

Cross-country skiing routes and snowmobile trails pass close to the villa. From the windows and the terrace you can see the Salla slalom skiing slopes, which are a short car ride away from the villa. Pyhäjärvi (the lake) gives the opportunity for ice fishing in the winter. During the summer you can fish, swim or row in the lake.

In the villa, there is room for eight people to sleep. There are two bedrooms (where four people can sleep) and a loft where another four people can sleep. There is a fully-equipped kitchen, a fireplace, a toilet, a sauna with a shower (and another toilet), a washing machine and a drying cabinet, television and free WiFi.
